Life From Within The Coke Bottle

Well, the time has come and gone... The first show for Canadian Idol has been on and yes, my boy Dennis was shown on tv!! :0) He sang Zoot Suit Riot and they showed him for a good 15-20 seconds I'd say! I was kinda hoping that they'd show marmar giving Dennis a hug afterwards but hey who cares! My boy was the first guy they showed from the Alberta auditions *and* we got to see Dennis in the commercial snippit before his segment came on!
Yes my dear just as one recent American Idol sang it... "do I make you proud?" well Hell yes you sure do!! In case I didn't say it before, thank you for letting me, marmar, Shannon and Phoenix take part in your idol experience. We could only live vicariously through you and this is as close to the Idol judges I'll ever get... so next year baby! We're gonna do it again when the show makes it's way here to Calgary!! I'll be cheering you on just as much and as loud!! I love ya Dennis!! *big BIG hugs!*

Ok, so while I'm thinking of it....I wasn't too impressed with their "all over the country" type style that they showed tonight.... Why'd they do Vancouver, Yellowknife, then boot right off to Kitchener/Waterloo and then come back to Edmonton!? I don't quite understand. Ah well, maybe there will be more to see throughout the next few segments?? I guess we'll have to wait and see! I was kinda dissapointed with the idol website. I didn't see any piccies or video footage of our boy... I was kinda hoping to see "blingbling" too... oh lord that would have just given the show a "oh my god what the hell is that doing here?" sorta element! "blingbling" was pretty bad!! :P~ I am glad we experienced his crappy-ness! Maybe that would have been a bit too much for the Canadian public to handle! Speaking of too much... I've had too much cola so I must go to do something about it- and then off to bed since I have to get up at stupid oclock for work....

Oh, on a totally unrelated note, I went to the dentist today and I was pretty impressed w/ the checkup and cleaning that the hygenist did. She didn't have to scrape and scratch very much and there was only minimum bleeding so...all good for me... 'cept when the Doc came in.... *sniff* I have a cavity!!!!!! - Here I was, I thought i was doin' so good on the teeth taking care of thing... and I also have a broken filling which I have to get re-done in a month or so. blah!! Oh well, it could be worse!! I'm happy with the day overall. Oh OOOOOH!! while I'm thinking "dentist"... how many of you floss? I mean really, religiously floss like the dentist/hygenist tells you to? Personally, if I should floss, or should I have to floss... I will probably only do it once a week. I mean really... I'll just take this piece of string and wrap it around my fingers and... oh :P~~ who has the frickin' time!!! :P~~ If you floss? ... Why?.... what is it good for? (the words 'absolutely nothing' pop to mind!) But that's just me and my flossy opinion! I wonder if celebrities floss? Do you think that George W. Bush flosses? What about Tom Cruise? Now surely he must floss... or is that allowed in the religion he believes in!? *grin* Oooh!! OOOOh!!! Simon.... Simon Cowell... now... he HAS to floss!!!. dont'cha think? ;) Marie Fredriksson sure must floss... hell look at the gap in bewtween her teeth! It'll fit I'm sure!! :) (oh god I'm sorry!) I'm just being silly now! Good night my silly Idol watching floss lovers!! Many x's and o's to those I love... but of course only after I have brushed and flossed! :P~~~~~~~
